Introduction

Hello, world.  My name is Dave Riederer, and I'm starting this blog to give you my take on happenings in the sports world.  Sure, this blog may only exist because it's an assignment for my Sport Communication class at Slippery Rock, but if I have to do it, then I'm at least going to have some fun with it.  A lot of you who will follow this blog (a.k.a. my fellow Sport Comm classmates) may not know me, so before you read my postings, I should warn you that I have an odd way of looking at the world.  I'm a cynic in every sense of the word.  Because of this, my view on sports may be a little different than yours.  But, hey, I guess that's what will make this blog an interesting read for you all.
